O scale (1:48) is the larger format — big, detailed, and available assembled or powered. HO scale (1:87) is roughly half the size: a detailed shell and bottom chassis for custom mounting or static display. No trucks or lighting at HO size.

A detailed printed body and basic bottom chassis, ready for custom mounting, priming, painting, or static display. HO models are offered as shells only.

A fully painted shell on a finished chassis, a custom LED interior lighting board, and MTH-style non-powered trucks with covers matched to each car type. Ready for your layout out of the box.

Powered builds add dual motors and a ProtoSound 2 or 3 board with real train audio, plus LED lighting and MTH-style trucks. They’re compatible with MTH DCS control systems.

Yes — that’s our favorite part. Custom builds are modeled from scratch in CAD with accurate detailing. Quotes start at a $1,000 minimum and can reach $2,000+ depending on complexity and licensing; CAD file ownership is negotiable. See Request a train.

That’s the goal. Trucks are MTH-style with model-specific covers, powered cars run ProtoSound 2/3, and everything is built for MTH DCS compatibility — plus tighter couplings for realistic consists.
